5th Annual Dynamic Water Charity Golf Tournament

On Saturday, August 9, Dynamic Water, an organization ran by Shannon Smith, will hold their 5th annual charity golf tournament.  The event will complete the funding for a solar-powered pump system at a well they have funded in a village in Laisamis, Kenya. Mark your calendars now for Sunday, August 17! The 3rd annual church carnival will take place immediately after the 11:00 am service in the parking lot of the church building. Festivities will wrap up around 3:00pm. Expect bounce houses, a dunk tank, ring toss and many more fun games for the kids provided by our Oak City Church homegroups. We will also be providing hots dogs and snacks for anyone there.  As in previous years, the kids will be polled to see which homegroup has the greatest carnival game!  We will also being doing a good deal of outreach to the surrounding neighborhoods to raise awareness for the carnival. We will be looking for homegroups or other volunteers to go pass out flyers two weeks ahead of the date of the carnival.  If you would like to help out with this please contact patrick@oakcitychurch.com
Men’s Morning + Go Karting

Attention Men of Oak City Church! Please plan on joining us for a morning of learning, fellowship and fun. The morning will start at the Oak City Church building at 9:00am and then move after lunch to Rush Hour Karting. This PROMISES to be a great time.
