Spring Business Meeting - This Sunday Night

We will be having our Spring Business Meeting on Sunday, May 19. A potluck dinner will begin at 5:00pm and the business meeting will begin at 6:30pm sharp. Please register for the potluck! THE DEADLINE TO REGISTER FOR CHILDCARE IS TUESDAY, MAY 14th. If you call Oak City Church your home, please plan on joining us for this meeting because: Everybody loves a potluck. The main business of the church is making disciples and our business meetings always give us a great chance to discuss the progress we have made in the area. It's Oak City Church's very first business meeting and God has been doing some awesome things in our church! Please sign up for the potluck below and let us know what you plan on bringing. Also, childcare WILL BE PROVIDED for the business meeting but you will absolutely need to let us know how many kids will be with you by signing up below.

Garage Sale for Orphans

Help One Now will be holding a "Garage Sale for Orphans" at Hope Community Church on Saturday, June 1 from 7:00am - 12:00pm. Check out this Promo video here - http://vimeo.com/63708451 Help One Now is a fantastic organization that does great work all around the world. Oak City Church is proud to have partnered with them for many years now and we are pleased to be a part pf this years Garage Sale for Orphans. We have two main needs for this event: Stuff - we all know it's time for spring cleaning! Instead of tossing that stuff in the trash can we ask that you bring that stuff by the Oak City Church building and donate to Help One Now to be sold for the garage sale. People - we will need several volunteers to meet at the Oak City Church building on Saturday morning, June 1, haul our items over to Hope Community Church and man the tables where our items will be sold. The only other thing we need is for people to show up and spend money to benefit Help One Now! If you have stuff to donate or would be willing to help out on the day of the yard sale (June 1) please contact Dan Fitzgerald.
